For example, as a child you loved Impressionism or Expressionism although school obliged. As a young person I didn’t understand the concepts of installation and experimental art. But as I got older, I sensed something in these types of works that resonated with me. It wasn’t a love at first sight, it was an instinctual strong feeling that developed over time.
Art needs to be a fun experience for the audience. There’s no point in giving them the “directions”, that kills the spontaneity and stops it from being an interesting experience. With its layered plot, serious background and the simultaneous openness to the emotional perception of any level of preparedness and erudition, such a work can be enjoyed by people with very different tastes.
